About This Activity
The Midcoast region is about an hour north of Portland along scenic Route 1. Spend the morning at the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland, walk the breakwater to the lighthouse, then drive up to Camden for an afternoon stroll through Harbor Park and a look at Mount Battie. Optional: a 30-minute drive to Owls Head Transportation Museum or a winery stop at Breakwater Vineyards before the return.
Seasonal note: Year-round; fall foliage from Mount Battie in October is exceptional
