Polaria Arctic Experience Center
Tromsø, Norway
About This Activity
Polaria is Norway's northernmost science centre and aquarium, housed in an arresting building designed to resemble ice floes driven ashore by Arctic winds. The main attractions are a panoramic film about Svalbard shot from a small plane, and the bearded seal pool where resident seals are fed twice daily. Interactive exhibits explore the Arctic environment, climate change, and the ecology of the High North in an accessible and engaging way for all ages.
