Sagrada Família Basilica
Barcelona, Spain
About This Activity
On February 20, 2026, the Tower of Jesus Christ reached its full height of 172.5 meters, making Sagrada Família the world's tallest church — surpassing Ulm Minster by 11 meters. The basilica combines Gothic structure with Art Nouveau organic forms in a way never seen before or since; the interior's forest-like columns and kaleidoscopic stained glass remain overwhelming in person. Finishing works on the Glory Façade and Glòria staircase continue through the early 2030s. Book timed-entry tickets well in advance on the official website — basic entry starts at €33.80, with tower access tickets higher.
Seasonal note: Year-round; book weeks ahead in summer. Spring and autumn have shorter queues.
