Arthur's Seat Hike
Edinburgh, United Kingdom
About This Activity
Arthur's Seat is an ancient volcano rising 251m above sea level in the middle of Edinburgh, within Holyrood Park. The hike to the summit takes about 45 minutes from the park entrance and rewards with spectacular 360-degree views over Edinburgh, the Firth of Forth, and on clear days, the Highlands. Completely free. Wear sturdy shoes as the terrain can be uneven. The park is also home to the Radical Road rock path and the ruins of St Anthony's Chapel.
