The Scotch Whisky Experience on the Royal Mile is the most accessible introduction to Scotch whisky in Edinburgh. A barrel ride through the whisky-making process is followed by a guided tasting of malts from the five whisky-producing regions of Scotland — Highlands, Lowlands, Speyside, Islay, and Campbeltown. The Silver Tour includes one dram; the Gold Tour includes four. The venue also houses the world's largest collection of Scotch whisky (3,384 bottles). Tickets from £20.
