Trishna Restaurant — Mumbai Seafood
Mumbai, India
About This Activity
Trishna, in a narrow Fort lane since 1981, is Mumbai's most celebrated seafood restaurant — acclaimed by Anthony Bourdain and consistently listed among India's best tables. Signature dishes are the butter-pepper-garlic crab, prawn koliwada, and stuffed pomfret, all based on daily catches from Sassoon Dock. Open noon–3:30 PM and 6:30 PM–midnight; book 2–3 days ahead. Budget ₹1,300–1,750 per person; a meal for two runs ₹2,600–3,500. The decor is no-frills but the food is extraordinary.
Seasonal note: Open year-round. Best seafood selection October–May when most fish species are in season; July–August monsoon limits some daily catches.
