Blarney Castle & Stone, County Cork — Kiss the Stone of Eloquence
Cork, Ireland
About This Activity
Blarney Castle (built 1446) is 8km from Cork city and one of Ireland's most visited historic sites. The Blarney Stone is set in the castle battlements — you lie back over the parapet to kiss it, supposedly gaining the gift of eloquence. The surrounding 60-acre estate contains a formal rock close with druidic connections, a poison garden, and the atmospheric Badger Cave. Adult admission is €18; book online for best pricing. Open daily year-round.
Seasonal note: Open year-round; gardens best Apr–Oct
