About This Activity

Cobh (pronounced 'cove'), 25 minutes by train from Cork, was the final port of call for RMS Titanic on April 11, 1912, and the main embarkation point for 2.5 million Irish emigrants during and after the Great Famine. The Cobh Heritage Centre (the Queenstown Story) uses interactive exhibits, audio testimonies, and original artefacts to tell both stories. Admission is €15 adults. The town's colourful terraced seafront and St Colman's Cathedral are equally worth exploring.

Seasonal note: Open year-round; busiest Jul–Aug
