Miraflores Cliff Walk & Larcomar
Lima, Peru
About This Activity
The Malecón de Miraflores is Lima's scenic clifftop promenade stretching several kilometers above the Pacific, lined with parks, sculpture gardens, and sweeping ocean views. The mosaic-covered Parque del Amor is a prime sunset spot, while Larcomar — a mall carved into the cliffs — has restaurants and bars perched above the waves. Paragliders launch from the clifftop daily (Dec–Apr best conditions). Entry is free; the stroll pairs naturally with Barranco or a ceviche lunch stop.
Seasonal note: Best Dec–May for clear skies and ocean views; Jun–Oct garúa season brings low cloud and mist, reducing visibility but still walkable.
