About This Activity
Depart from Praia da Batata, Lagos, by kayak at dawn when the morning light paints the honey-gold cliffs orange. Your guide leads you through arches, into grottos, and past hidden cove beaches — including Ponta da Piedade's sea caves. Settle on a secluded beach for a snorkeling break before being towed back by the support vessel. No prior kayaking experience needed.
Seasonal note: Runs April–October; best May–September when seas are calm and morning light illuminates the golden cliffs. Dawn departures (from ~8am) offer the most dramatic lighting and flattest water.
