Lagos is blessed with beaches for every mood: dramatic Praia Dona Ana (backed by ochre cliffs and accessible by steps), sheltered Camilo Beach tucked between rocks, and the vast sandy sweep of Meia Praia stretching 4 km east of town. All are within 15 minutes of the old town by foot or a short taxi ride — just bring sunscreen and a towel.
Seasonal note: Beach season June–September with warm Atlantic water (19–22°C). May and October are pleasant for cliff walks and quiet beaches. Praia Dona Ana and Camilo are accessible year-round by foot.
