About This Activity

The quieter, northern section of Zion National Park is accessible via its own entrance off I-15, about 40 minutes from Springdale. The 5-mile Kolob Canyons Road leads to stunning red-rock finger canyons and the Timber Creek Overlook Trail (1 mile round trip). For a longer adventure, the 14-mile round-trip Taylor Creek Trail leads to the Double Arch Alcove. Kolob is included with your Zion park pass ($35/vehicle) and rarely has crowds. You can also visit on the drive between Zion and Bryce Canyon.
