Feria de San Telmo — Sunday Antiques Market
Buenos Aires, Argentina
About This Activity
Every Sunday 10am–5pm, the Feria de San Telmo fills 10 blocks of Defensa Street with over 270 vendors selling silverware, mate gourds, vintage jewelry, leather goods, and Argentine memorabilia. Street musicians and tango dancers enliven the cobblestones while food vendors dish up empanadas and choripán. Arrive between 10:30am and 11:30am to browse before peak noon crowds. The stunning iron-and-glass Mercado de San Telmo (1897) on the same street is open daily and well worth a detour.
Seasonal note: Sunday market runs year-round; spring and fall offer the most pleasant weather
