Milonga — Social Tango Night in Buenos Aires
Buenos Aires, Argentina
About This Activity
A milonga is the social tango event where porteños dance until dawn — entirely different from a stage show. La Catedral Club (Almagro, bohemian atmosphere, ~$10–15 entry) runs Tuesdays and Sundays; Salon Canning (Palermo, traditional ballroom, ~$6) hosts classes at 7pm and 9pm before the social dancing begins at 11pm on Mondays and Fridays. Both welcome beginners; arrive early for the included group lesson and dress smart-casual. This is tango as a living folk tradition, not a performance.
Seasonal note: Year-round; check local tango calendars each week as schedules rotate
