Parque Tres de Febrero (Bosques de Palermo) is Buenos Aires' grand urban parkland, spanning hundreds of hectares through the city's most fashionable district. The free El Rosedal rose garden showcases 18,000 roses and features a Greek bridge, amphitheatre, and poets' garden. The Japanese Garden (Jardín Japonés) is open daily 10am–6:45pm with a small entry fee (~$4 USD for non-residents) and features koi ponds, red bridges, and spring cherry blossoms. Paddle boats are available to rent on Lago de Palermo.
