About This Activity
The United States Air Force Academy welcomes visitors with free, self-guided access to its scenic 18,500-acre campus. The Cadet Chapel remains closed for renovation (expected reopening 2027), but visitors can explore the Honor Court, Arnold Hall, and scenic overlooks. The new General Bradley & Zita Hosmer Visitor Center opens May 16, 2026 outside the North Gate — free to visit with no base access required. Catch the cadet lunch formation (selected weekdays at 11:30 AM–noon) for a memorable glimpse into academy life. Open daily.
