Konoba Jezuite sits at the top of the famous Jesuit staircase — the Game of Thrones 'Walk of Shame' steps — and is considered one of the Old Town's most authentic dining experiences. The specialty is peka: lamb, veal, or octopus slow-cooked for hours under a heavy iron bell covered in glowing embers, resulting in extraordinarily tender, aromatic meat. Ordering peka requires at least 24 hours advance notice. The wine list focuses on Dalmatian appellations — Plavac Mali from Pelješac and Pošip from Korčula — and the staff are knowledgeable guides through Croatia's wine regions.
