About This Activity

The Rector's Palace (Knežev Dvor) is one of Dubrovnik's finest Gothic-Renaissance buildings, serving as the administrative and residential seat of the elected Rector of the Republic of Ragusa. Built in the 15th century and repeatedly rebuilt after gunpowder explosions and earthquakes, it features a beautifully arcaded facade and an elegant inner courtyard used as a Summer Festival concert venue. The Cultural History Museum inside exhibits period furniture, official portraits, gold and silverwork from the treasury, and artifacts from the Republic of Ragusa. A combined 10-museum pass (€20) covers this and nine other city museums and represents the best value.
