About This Activity
Walkabout Florence's 4WD Chianti tour takes you off the main Chiantigiana road onto farm tracks between Sangiovese vineyards and olive groves. Visits include two working wine estates with barrel tastings, an English-style garden of a 15th-century Florentine villa, and the town of Greve in Chianti for independent exploration. Lunch at a traditional Tuscan restaurant with panoramic views is included. Groups max 8; departs 9 AM, returns 7 PM.
Seasonal note: Harvest October brings vendemmia (grape picking); wildflowers May; avoid August heat; tours run April–October primarily
