About This Activity

At a private farmhouse 40 minutes south of Florence, a local home cook guides your family through making fresh pasta from scratch — pappardelle, ravioli, or tagliatelle depending on the season — along with a ragù, bruschetta, and a dessert. Children age 4+ love the hands-on kneading and shape-cutting. The class runs 3 hours and ends with a sit-down meal of everything you made, paired with estate-grown Chianti wines (juice for kids). Classes are intimate (max 8 people), conducted in English, and include round-trip transport from Florence.

Seasonal note: Year-round indoor activity; best during harvest season September–October for freshest local wine pairings
