Gelato Making Workshop for Families in Florence

About This Activity
In a gelato lab near Santa Croce, a master gelatiere teaches your family to make authentic Italian gelato from scratch using fresh seasonal ingredients. Kids age 4+ pick their own flavor combinations (strawberry-basil, chocolate-hazelnut, lemon), help measure ingredients, and operate the churning machine. The 90-minute workshop ends with an all-you-can-eat tasting of your creations. Groups are small (max 10 people) and the atmosphere is relaxed and playful — one of the best activities for children in Florence. Each participant receives a mini gelato recipe booklet to take home.
