About This Activity

The Victoria & Alfred Waterfront is Africa's most-visited tourist destination and Cape Town's social heart. Built around the working Victoria and Alfred Basins — the oldest part of Cape Town's harbour, dating to 1860 — the precinct combines heritage industrial architecture with modern restaurants, boutiques, the Two Oceans Aquarium, the Zeitz MOCAA contemporary art museum, and the ferry terminal for Robben Island. A clocktower overlooks the historic Alfred Basin, and the daily sunsets over Table Mountain and the Atlantic from the waterfront promenade are among the most spectacular urban views on the continent.
