About This Activity

The Busan Cinema Center (Dureraum) is the permanent home of the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF, October 6–15, 2026), Asia's largest film festival. Designed by Austrian firm Coop Himmelblau, its 163m cantilevered LED canopy is the world's longest overhanging roof, transforming the outdoor plaza into a glowing open-air cinema after dark. The Cinematheque, Cinema I and II, and 4,000-seat outdoor theater host screenings and events year-round. Accessible via Centum City Station (Metro Line 2). Free to visit the plaza and exterior; screenings ticketed.

Seasonal note: Year-round; the LED canopy light show is best viewed after dark. The BIFF festival (October) is the highlight — book film tickets well in advance.
