About This Activity

Gamcheon Culture Village is a densely packed hillside neighborhood originally settled by wartime refugees in the 1950s, transformed into Busan's most photographed attraction through a 2009 community art project. Pastel-painted houses cascade down steep slopes connected by mural-lined staircase alleys, galleries, craft shops, and quirky cafés. The Little Prince rooftop statue is Busan's most iconic photo spot. Pick up the ₩2,000 stamp trail map at the tourist information building near the entrance — collecting all eight stamps earns a small souvenir. Free entry to the village.

Seasonal note: Year-round; spring and autumn are ideal for the steep hillside walk. Summer (July–August) is very humid and busy — go early morning.
