About This Activity

Gwangalli Beach is Busan's coolest neighborhood beach — less crowded than Haeundae with a better indie café scene and the city's most dramatic backdrop: the Gwangan Bridge, a 7.4km suspension bridge that switches to neon light shows after dark. The beachfront strip of stylish restaurants, craft-beer bars, and cafés fills with a young local crowd in the evenings. The Busan Fireworks Festival (October) stages world-class fireworks here. A Banksy Photo Exhibition runs at Gwangalli Beach from January through December 2026. Completely free; accessible via Gwangan Station (Metro Line 2).

Seasonal note: Year-round; October Fireworks Festival is spectacular. Best evening ambiance in spring and autumn when temperatures are comfortable for outdoor dining.
