The Prado is Spain's national art museum and one of the most visited in the world, housing over 8,000 paintings. Highlights include Velázquez's Las Meninas, Goya's haunting Black Paintings, Bosch's The Garden of Earthly Delights, and extensive works by El Greco and Rubens. General admission is €15; free entry Monday–Saturday from 6–8 PM and Sundays and public holidays from 5–7 PM. Book timed-entry tickets online to skip the queue during peak hours. Combined Paseo del Arte tickets covering Prado, Reina Sofía, and Thyssen save money.
