About This Activity

The Thyssen-Bornemisza is the third pillar of Madrid's 'Golden Triangle of Art' (alongside the Prado and Reina Sofía) and fills the chronological gaps between them. The collection spans from 13th-century Italian primitives through Dutch Golden Age masters, Impressionism, Expressionism, and American Pop Art. Look for Hopper's Hotel Room, van Gogh's Les Vessenots, and Monet's Thaw at Vétheuil. General admission is €14 (€10 reduced); free entry every Monday and on Saturday evenings from 9 PM to 11 PM. Combined Paseo del Arte tickets available.

Seasonal note: Year-round. Free Monday and Saturday late evenings are popular; mid-week mornings are quietest.
