About This Activity

Triana is Seville's most characterful neighborhood — traditionally home to potters, sailors, bullfighters, and flamenco artists. The riverside Calle Betis is lined with terrace bars facing the Torre del Oro and the city skyline; the interior streets contain active ceramic workshops producing the blue-and-white azulejo tiles seen throughout Seville. The Mercado de Triana is a well-preserved covered market popular with locals for fresh produce and seafood tapas. Cross via the Puente de Isabel II (Triana Bridge) for the best views back toward the cathedral and Giralda. Free to explore; ceramics workshops offer tours for €10–20.

Seasonal note: Year-round. The riverside Calle Betis terrace scene is best spring and autumn evenings. Market is closed Sundays.
