Chatuchak Weekend Market
Bangkok, Thailand
About This Activity
Chatuchak Weekend Market (JJ Market) is one of the world's largest markets with over 15,000 stalls spread across 35 acres. Every conceivable item is for sale: handmade ceramics, vintage clothing, orchids, antique Buddha images, street food, and live animals. Navigate by section number — Sections 2–4 for art and collectibles, Sections 8–10 for clothes, and the food court along the clock tower for excellent cheap eats. Arrive early (opens 9am) before the heat and crowds peak around midday. Open Saturday and Sunday only, 9am–6pm.
Seasonal note: Open Saturdays and Sundays only; cooler months Nov–Feb are far more comfortable
