About This Activity
Patong is Phuket's most energetic beach destination — a 3km arc of sand lined with sun-loungers, jet ski operators, parasailing, and beachfront seafood restaurants. The beach itself is best visited in the morning when it's quiet and the water is clearest. The real draw for many visitors is the Bangla Road entertainment district: a pedestrianized strip of open-air bars, clubs, and street food stalls running from sunset until dawn. Patong is also home to Muay Thai stadiums with fights most evenings.
