About This Activity

Phang Nga Bay is one of Thailand's most dramatic natural landscapes — 400 sq km of emerald water dotted with limestone karst islands jutting vertically from the sea. Koh Tapu (James Bond Island) became famous as the villain's lair in 'The Man with the Golden Gun' (1974). Sea kayaking through cathedral-like caves and enclosed hongs (tidal lagoons) is the unmissable highlight. Guided speedboat tours from Phuket run full-day trips for approximately 1,500 THB, including sea kayaking with a local paddler, lunch, and hotel transfers.

Seasonal note: Best Nov–Apr; tours operate Oct–May but seas can be choppy; often suspended during peak monsoon (Jun–Sep)
