Uçhisar Castle is a massive rock formation riddled with tunnels and rooms that has served as a natural fortress for centuries. At 1,355 meters, it is the highest point in Cappadocia. Climb through narrow carved passages to the summit for 360-degree panoramic views encompassing Pigeon Valley, Göreme's fairy chimneys, and on clear days, the snow-capped peaks of Erciyes and Hasan Dağı volcanoes. The surrounding village has charming stone houses and boutique cave hotels.
