The Caravelle Hotel's Saigon Saigon Rooftop Bar has been HCMC's most celebrated sunset spot since the 1960s, when war correspondents and diplomats gathered here. Today the 9th-floor open terrace offers sweeping views of the Opera House, Reunification Palace, and lit-up downtown. Signature cocktails start from 320,000 VND (~$12.50); happy hour runs 4–6pm (buy-one-get-one on selected drinks). Smart casual dress required. The Caravelle also runs a Sunday brunch.
Seasonal note: Year-round. Outdoor terrace may close briefly during heavy tropical downpours (May–Oct); indoor seating available.
