Within 10km of Hội An, flat village roads wind through emerald rice paddies, lotus ponds, and craft villages. Morning bicycle tours visit Tra Que organic herb village (which supplies Hội An's restaurants), the traditional pottery village of Thanh Ha, and the basket-boat fishing community at Cam Thanh. Guides explain the rice growing cycle and introduce local artisans. Tours run 3–4 hours, are suitable for all fitness levels, and cost around $20–30 per person including a guide and bicycle.
Seasonal note: Best Feb–Aug (dry, green rice fields). Oct–Nov flooding can make rural paths impassable.
