About This Activity

Hội An's farm cooking classes rank among Vietnam's best. Morning sessions begin with a boat ride to a riverside farm or the Tra Que organic vegetable village, where you harvest fresh herbs, learn to catch crabs, and cook Central Vietnamese specialties: banh xeo (sizzling rice pancakes), white rose dumplings (bánh vạc — a Hội An original), and cao lau noodles (made with local well water). Classes run 4 hours and include a sit-down meal of everything cooked. Operators such as Red Bridge ($35/person) and Cocolocal Farm provide transport, ingredients, and small groups.

Seasonal note: Year-round; outdoor farm sections may be waterlogged during typhoon season (Sep–Nov).
