About This Activity

Glen Eyrie Castle is a 67-room Tudor-style castle built in 1904 by General William Palmer, founder of Colorado Springs, set dramatically in a red-rock canyon. The 90-minute guided tour covers the castle’s history — from railroad wars and oil tycoons to its current role as a retreat center operated by The Navigators. Adults $14, children under 5 free. Tours run daily; not offered Tue–Wed in Oct–Apr. Advance booking recommended at gleneyrie.org/tours.

Seasonal note: Tours run daily; closed Tue–Wed from October through April.
