Alaska Gelateria Gluten-Free, Venice
Venice, Italy
About This Activity
Alaska Gelateria near the Santa Croce district is widely regarded as Venice's best artisan gelato shop and is known for being completely gluten-free — all cones and wafers are replaced with GF alternatives upon request, and the gelato itself contains no wheat-based ingredients. Owner Carlo Pistacchi uses seasonal fruit and natural flavours with no artificial colourings. Signature flavours include fig, artichoke, and rose. A two-scoop serving costs €3–4. The shop is small; expect a short queue in summer.
Seasonal note: Year-round; busiest April–October
