Khao San Road & Banglamphu
Bangkok, Thailand
About This Activity
Khao San Road is Bangkok's legendary backpacker street and a Southeast Asia rite of passage. By day it's a market of cheap clothes and travel services; by night it erupts into a neon-lit party strip with open-air bars, live music, and buckets of cocktails. The surrounding Banglamphu neighborhood is the real gem — wander Rambuttri Road for indie cafes and quieter bars, or stroll to Phra Arthit Road for riverside evening views. A late-evening visit (after 8pm) is far more atmospheric than an afternoon one.
Seasonal note: Year-round; busiest and most atmospheric on weekend evenings
