About This Activity
Gion Hatanaka ryokan hosts an intimate maiko (geisha trainee) performance evening open to a limited number of guests. Attend a 30-minute live performance of traditional music, singing, and fan dancing, then sit down to a full kaiseki multi-course dinner featuring seasonal Kyoto ingredients sourced that morning. Unlimited sake and beer included throughout the evening. One of the few accessible, authentic maiko experiences in Kyoto — book well in advance.
