About This Activity

Pontocho is Kyoto's most atmospheric entertainment alley — a narrow lantern-lit lane along the Kamo River lined with intimate restaurants and izakaya. This 3-hour guided evening bar hop visits 3 local establishments off the main tourist path, sampling sake, Japanese whisky highballs, and bar snacks (yakitori, kushiyaki, fresh tofu) at each stop.
