Rainbow Street Walk
Amman, Jordan
About This Activity
Rainbow Street (Al-Wakalat Street) in Jebel Amman is the social heart of modern Amman — a lively stretch lined with independent coffee shops, art galleries, bookstores, street food vendors, and bars that come alive after dark. The street runs along a ridge with views across the valleys of the city, passing Ottoman-era villas converted into boutique restaurants. On Friday mornings a local farmers market sets up, selling organic produce, artisan goods, and homemade food. The area is the best place to experience contemporary Jordanian culture — young, cosmopolitan, and relaxed.
