Korean Cooking Class in Jongno-Insadong
Seoul, South Korea
About This Activity
Small-group classes in Jongno or Insadong cover three to four dishes — typically kimchi, bibimbap, and bulgogi or doenjang jjigae — in a hands-on kitchen session limited to around seven participants. Many include a short market visit to source fresh ingredients before cooking. Sessions run about three hours and conclude with eating everything you made; English recipe booklets are provided so you can recreate dishes at home. Prices range from ₩68,000 to ₩150,000 depending on the provider; budget around ₩80,000 for a solid mid-range class.
Seasonal note: Year-round; classes run Tuesday–Sunday at most providers. Book at least 24 hours in advance.
