About This Activity

N Seoul Tower sits 480m above sea level on Namsan Mountain and offers sweeping 360-degree views of the Han River and Seoul's grid of skyscrapers. The observatory (open 10am–10:30pm daily) costs ₩21,000 for adults; the Namsan cable car adds ₩15,000 round-trip or you can hike the forested 40-minute trail. Arrive 1–2 hours before sunset to catch the full transition from daylight to the glittering night cityscape — the most dramatic viewing window. The famous love-lock fence at the top and a ring of wooded trails make this a standout stop for couples.

Seasonal note: Open year-round; spring cherry blossoms and autumn foliage on Namsan's trails are exceptional. Clear winter days also give superb long-distance views.
