Myeongdong Shopping & Street Food
Seoul, South Korea
About This Activity
Myeongdong is Seoul's most trafficked retail district — a dense grid of K-beauty brand flagships (Innisfree, Etude, Laneige), international fashion chains, and neon-lit street food carts. The night market runs daily from roughly 5pm to 1am, with vendors selling tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), gyeran-bbang (egg cake muffins), hotteok (sweet pancakes), and tornado potatoes. Shops generally open 10:30am–10pm daily. Budget around ₩10,000–₩20,000 for a street food tour; skincare shopping can add considerably more.
Seasonal note: Year-round; most lively on weekday evenings and weekends. Night market stalls set up from 5pm daily.
